Welgeluk Accommodation
Set in the stillness of the Klein Karoo countryside, this exquisitely renovated Ostrich Feather Palace beckons guests to enjoy generous hospitality along with a luxurious stay.
Built in 1910, the Edwardian sandstone house is a beautifully preserved remnant of the ostrich feather boom and was proclaimed a national monument in 1979.
With scenic views and tame game on your doorstep, this truly is a nature lover’s Eden.
A stay at Welgeluk also offers an experience that’s quite unique to Oudtshoorn as destination, as you’ll find us on a working ostrich farm, right next to well-known Safari Ostrich Farm.
Apart from our 5 luxury B&B rooms, there’s also the option of 2 cosy self-catering cottages, each sleeping 6 guests.
